Hi. I will to conect to Quectel LC79D, pin 3 antenna out and 12456 to ground??
Hi, We need to conect a Raptor SR4G053 to a Quectel GNSS module LC79D.  Wich are wright way to conect the antenna pins?

Pin 3 to RF input of GNSS module?

Pins 2 3 4 5 and 6 to ground?

Hello Carlos,

Yes, connect Pin 3 to the input of the GNSS module.

NO, do NOT connect any of the other pins to ground.  They should all be floating pads. You can place pads under pins 1,2,4,5,6 on the opposite side of the board and run a through hole via to them for better mechanical strength but there should be not ground underneath or around the antenna.

I tested that the Pin 3 is electrically connected to  Pins  4, 5, 6. Is that OK? Pins 1, 2 are not.

Hi Carlos,

Yes, they are electrically connected through traces in the antenna itself. It is ok so long as all other pins are floating and NOT grounded.
