Superstrate loaded antennas
In case of antennas loaded with superstrates above air gap. For implementing is it right to replace the air gap with Rohacell or any thin foam. Or should we necessarily go for spacers to introduce the air gap?

Hi , This really depends on the superstrate material to be used and the frequency you require. You will have detuning but this should be intentional to ensure you stay on the correct band. Both solutions are ok providing you design is correctly.
