I am using the m20048 in a custom board and would like to know if there is a firmware load or configuration that is required for the m20048. It is wired identically to the m20048-1 eval module (shown in application schematic example of the product specification document). I have applied 3.1V VCC and do not see any activity on the TX pin. Should I expect to see GPS traffic without any further software/firmware setup?

Hi, You should be seeing NMEA data from the TX pin upon power up, did you also apply power to the backup pin? If you are still having issues please contact Antenova directly using techsupport@antenova.com
