Has the firmware on the M10578-A3 changed lately?

We have older revision M10578-A3 parts that are working fine in our design. We just built boards with newer GPS modules and the GPS isn't working. Markings on the parts are shown below. Any insight would be helpful.

The 2-digit Talker ID is shown below as a reference. Please see the MTK NMEA Sentence Output document for the detailed definition and full list of explanation to the identifier.

Default Talker ID update table FW: AN-10-0016-A

Adjust the firmware to look for and accept the updated Talker ID of “GN” that is listed in the Default Taker ID Update Table.
