CM4 has an internal WiFi antenna on the PCB with a socket for an external rubber duck antenna. It is FCC approved for use with either. I want to use a behind front glass antenna from you for a metal cased display unit with a 7" TFT behind a glass window. Would that need to be retested for certification? Is this something you can help with?

Possibly Asper or Dromus (We also need to Rx GPS) The issue is that we have the edge of the TFT display cover glass that would fit these but the glass fits back into a cast aluminium frame. We can provide a 2 - 4 mm airgap behind the antennat before the insulated metal frame. I see that some antennas appear to include their own ground plane on the reverse of the sticky patch so I wondered if that would be ok with the back of the antenna being near the metal case?
