How close can I place components next to an antenna?

The minimum distance between an antenna and a component varies based on the component's features, size and characteristics. For example, taller components should be kept further away from an antenna.

Rather than recommending a distance, we recommend drawing an 8 degree projection line from the base of your antenna, this section should be kept free of components where possible.
