If my PCB is shorter than the data sheet guidelines and clearance is also less, how much will antenna performance drop?

PCBs that are shorter than the suggested measurements for an antenna or for antenna clearance may suffer some performance compromise, or even fail to operate. The degree to which performance will degrade will depend on the size of the PCB size reduction and other factors within the design.
