QUESTION

Mitis antenna in B20 band
Hi,

I am using a Mitis antenna for new design in field of household appliances. Currenly device communicates in B20 band (NB-IoT). In the future also B1 band may be used. I would like to ask if Mitis antenna is suitable for B20 band? - why it is not specified at frequencies 791 - 821 MHz? (our initial tests in B20 band are promising)

Hello Jakub,

The data sheet for the Mitis on the Antenova.com website specifies 698 to 798MHz efficiency at 55%. From there the next frequency set is 824 to 950MHz at 65% efficiency. Even though the frequencies from 798 to 824 are not listed the efficiency does not drop over this range. It steadily climbs from 55% to 65%. The Mitis will work for band 20.

It will also work for Band1.
