Optimum antenna placement differs a lot between antennas. Most of Antenova's antennas have descriptions of the optimum placement within the corresponding data sheet. As a general rule of thumb, they should be placed on the corner or longest edge of a PCB – but the data sheet will give you the best recommendation based on the antenna you select.
