in our samples we are using yours SRFG017 GPS antenna. we encapsulated the antenna in two different plastic box, very similar, but the effect is totally different because in a case (box in Polycarbonare sabic) , the timing to get satellite position is very very long compared the other one in Technopolymer. Do you have info about it?
Do you have an indication about the minimum distance that must be guaranteed between antenna to the plastic cover surface? if we put the antenna glued upside down with own 3M tape on the box cover (solder and cable turn to the ground) which is the effect? Is possible to do?
