I am looking for internal antenna for LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT.

The device will be deployed outside.

The target size of PCB is follows:

1. Height is 60~70 mm
2. Width is 40~50 mm

Please recommend an appropriate antenna for LTE CAT M1/NB-IoT

How does FPC antenna's performance compare to SMD type vs FPC?

Hello Danh,

With PCB sizes that small, you're going to have trouble resonating at 700MHz with SMD antennas as they use the ground to radiate effectively.

That would mean using one of our FPC LTE antennas, either Mitis [SRFL026] or Moseni [SRFL029].

The performance between the two is comparable provided you follow the guidelines set out by the datasheets. However, with product ID being a constraint, there are trade-offs that can often dictate which integration type would be best for your specific application.
