Can SR4C033-L antenna be placed perpendicular to the ground plane?

Can we put the antenna on a small PCB perpendicular to other PCB, which would be antenna's ground plane, with dimensions recommended in your datasheet?

I send you picture of one similar device to be more clear what I mean.

Hi, the use of the SR4CL033 on a small PCB perpendicular to the main PCB does have the potential to work. For this to perform you will need to ensure the matching network is also on the smaller PCB. Also the GND connection may need to have an additional connection to allow current flow.
