Inductors selection for matching circuit of SRC2W006

Good afternoon,

I noticed that the datasheet for the SRC2W006 recommends using Murata LQG15HN series coils in the matching circuits. These coils have an SRF around 6 GHz. Wouldn't it be better to use coils from the Murata LQW15A series for tuning to avoid a significant change in the coil's characteristics in the 5-6 GHz range?

Hi,

As long as the operating frequency is below the SRF it's fine but if the LQW15A series has a much higher SRF than that would be slightly better as it will alow the inductor to retain its inductive qualities better.
