Hi All,

Why does pin 1 have to be connected to GND? Won't that change the impedance to 0Ω instead of 50Ω?

Hi Greg,

The shunt capacitors which is part of the Pi matching network will actually help the antenna to be matched to 50 Ohms at the frequencies required.
