The specifications for the Zhengi LTE antenna say it has "Linear" polarization.  Is that Vertical, Horizontal, or Both Vertical & Horizontal Polarization?  In other words, can the 80mm dimension be Vertical (perpendicular) to Earth Ground?

Yes the Zhengi antenna can have the 80mm dimension perpendicular to earth ground. LTE antenna systems utilize MIMO which places emphasis on the antennas being as uncorrelated as possible with one another irrespective of their relation to earth ground. GPS/GNSS antennas on the other-hand utilize circular polarization and physical orientation toward the sky to ensure the device can see the required number of satellites to acquire a fix.
