Good morning,

i'm developing an application based on a cellular module (SIMA7672E) from Simcom which uses GSM, GPRS, EDGE, LTE-FDD (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28) frequencies, mounted on a PCB 53x40 mm.

What antenna module do you suggest?

i was thinking of a SMD antenna but i know that its performance depends on the ground plane dimensions.

Hi Alessandro,

Pharaoh is recommended to implement in such small PCB and place it in short edge side of PCB,

you can refer to the data sheet for the antenna efficiency with EVB 50 x 40mm.
