QUESTION

DC blocking capacitor in line to protect the RF front end

We are going to use the SRFG017 Antenna in a design which uses the ublox Neo-M8Q module. This module has an integrated SAW and LNA on the RF Input. At the moment we have no dc blocking capacitor between antenna and RF input. In the SRFG017 datasheet is mentioned, that a dc blocking capacitor should be placed between the antenna and rf input. Do we need this connector, even we have an SAW at the input and passive antenna?

Hi Roger,

Do you know if the module has a integrated DC blocking component?
