QUESTION

Short SR4G013 feed to GND
We designed a PCB with the SR4G013. The feed is shorted to GND, as described in the datasheet. We measured the antenna impedance with a VNA, resulting in an impedance of 1.5 + j28.5 Ohm, which is way of. We suspect the short of the feed to GND has something to do with the low real impedance, could it be that we did something wrong with our design?

Hi Niels,

Did you measure the antenna with or without matching? It's difficult to tell the exact reason without seeing the board. We can take a look at the Gerbers for you if you have it.
