QUESTION

asked by
Mutica pcb: Can the antenna work with only 1mm wide ground plane along the short side of the antenna?

How will it affect the antenna performance if there only is 1mm wide copper plane on the right side of the antenna?
Or is it possible to tune the antenna without ground plane along the short side of the antenna?

Hi, On the image you show I see you have room to the left of the antenna, are you able to move it to have more GND to the right hand side. The antenna does require a GND to this side and although we don't specify a minimum you should allow about 3mm if possible.
