For an array structure need some clarity

I have designed an array the works for a centre frequency of 8.2 GHz. Which would be recommended for performance enhancement?

  1. Introducing a slim slot in ground plane?
  2. Using SRR or CSRR?
  3. Using FR4 epoxy or Rogers?
  4. What are the other enhancements that could be done?
